You know that one defining moment in your life where everything changed? Maybe it was meeting your soulmate, getting your dream job, or discovering your lifelong passion? Well, mine was the day I set up my boot heaters. Yep, boot heaters. Let me explain: First of all, it is SO much easier to simply ski when I can actually feel my toes. Not to mention, my friends, family, and strangers on the chairlift no longer have to listen to woeful complaints about my frozen toes. Who knew talking about my feet less would make people enjoy spending time with me more? Crazy. On a more serious note as a boot fitter, it’s allowed me to figure out what was actually going on in my boots and dial in the fit a little bit better. In short, yes, my boot heaters changed my life.

For Thermics, you have two options. The 1700 battery will last me a full ski day on full blast. Though full blast is rarely required, it’s those days that I need to be sure my batteries won’t conk out with a few hours left. If you are someone who avoids those super cold days, the 1300 should suit you just fine – or if you’re a little tougher than I am and don’t pack it in as soon as the heaters breathe their last breath of warmth.

How to Return an Item

  • Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
  • Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
    • You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
    • We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx

Returning New Items

  • Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it. Buying a gift? Don’t worry: our return window is extended around the holidays.
  • Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
    • All items must be re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
    • Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
    • Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.
  • When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the returned product(s), minus $10 for the prepaid return shipping label provided by Powder7. Please note: any outbound shipping charges are not refunded.
  • Once we receive the return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.

Returning New Ski Boots

  • Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
  • New ski boots may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories
    • Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box and re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
    • Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging and a shipping box, will be declined and sent back to you.
  • We always recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before taking them outside.
  • Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.

Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Items

  • Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
  • Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
  • When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the product(s) as well as a refund for standard ground shipping ($39.99 for used skis, $19.99 for used snowboards, etc.). Please note: expedited shipping costs or international shipping costs will not be refunded.
  • Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • We're happy to send extra pictures or talk with you about products in detail before we ship them to ensure you're purchasing a product that is best for you

Manufacturing Defects

We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. Please note, this process can take several weeks and we will keep you updated as we correspond with the manufacturer.
