Brand new for the 2023 season, Salomon presents the MTN 86 Pro. Replacing the old Explore series, the new MTN skis offer an even lighter weight, with the same downhill prowess we need for those big missions. A lightweight--but strong--Karuba and Poplar give a strong foundation for the additional cork damplifiers. Originally found in the QST collection, the cork absorbs vibrations and inconsistencies in the snow. This means an ultra smooth ride, no matter the chunder-y, corn-y, or dicey conditions you find yourself in. An all mountain rocker shape ensures reliable edge grip, while still being able to quickly release a turn if you need to. Quicker and more responsive than the wider MTN 96 Carbon, the MTN 86 Pro is ideal for firmer snow conditions, or longer missions where grams are everything.
