Rossignol Black Ops 118 Skis

Our Take On The 2024 Rossignol Black Ops 118:

The original Black Ops 118 was the first in a series that slowly replaced their legendary 7 series, becoming their big mountain charger for deep powder, busting through chop, and big lines. Known as the BlackOps Gamer for the last few seasons, the Black Ops 118 returns to its roots by dropping the Gamer for the name, but no structural changes. Deep rocker lines and a poplar core keeps the playfulness high, whether you're surfing powder, landing switch, or buttering rollers. High camber and an ABS beam underfoot, combined with Damp Tech tips and tails, creates a flex pattern that provides plenty of dampness and stability to stomp landings, bust through crud, and hold an edge ripping groomers back to the lift line. On the heavier side of things compared to ultra light powder skis, the Black Ops 118 serves as an excellent option for dealing with heavier, chopped up snow, while still feeling playful on those dreamy deep days. The full-send tool of choice for Chris Logan and Patrick White, this ski adapts to whatever the conditions throw at you, from backcountry booters to big mountain lines. The Black Ops 118 is offered in two graphics for two different sizes, but the construction is the same between the two.
