Our Take On The 2027 Kastle Transcend 98:
Kastle may be known for their high-performance frontside skis, but they're entering a new era with the Transcend. The Kastle Transcend 98 carries on the directional and race heritage feel, with a decidedly more playful flair. Extra tail rocker and a slightly less stiff construction than the Paragon family gives you more room to wiggle, slash, and bend. But, there's still plenty of gas in this tank. You can push the Transcend, with support and rigidity for harder carves and charging through heavier snow. The Transcend 98 is particularly suited for navigating bump lines and groomed terrain during firm snow conditions, as well as making the most of soft snow when storms come through. It's the ideal pair with an advanced intermediate skier looking for a ski that don't mind pushing a more aggressive ski around for better performance, or expert skiers who like a balance of performance without needing a super heavy ski all the time.
