This Ski Is A Staff Favorite:

Powder7 Staff Pick Tyler L

This is a super approachable board and is capable of being ridden all over the mountain and not just in the park. This board is responsive due to the fully cambered shape and holds an excellent edge on groomers with snow that might be a little harder. I also really liked how light the board was and how easy and maneuverable it was all over the mountain.

Everything about the K2 Medium is rock solid. Super poppy on little bumps and was able to power through chunder without a problem. Didn't take this one through the park which is where it excels, but it handled the side hits and ride-outs like a champion. Also, this may be one of my favorite graphics of the year.

Our Take On The 2024 K2 Medium:

The K2 Medium by Jake Kuzyk is completely redesigned for modern freestyle snowboarding. K2 Snowboarding Pro Rider Jake Kuzyk is dedicated to the classics...a classic, round, twin, tip and tail, a (mostly) classic camber profile, and a predictable flex pattern. K2 took all these elements into account when heading into the workshop and designing the all-new K2 Medium for the 23/24 season. The result is a predictable ride that you can trust on every takeoff and landing, perfect for progression. A low swing weight means you can whip the board around even faster, and the flex is supportive but not overly stiff. Whether you're tackling your first rails or experimenting with new shapes in the air, the K2 Medium is here for all of it.
