Change is constant. Inevitable. Scary. But sometimes, change pushes us toward something better. That's exactly what Faction has done with the Prodigy 3.0, bringing changes to the structure and adding a sleek new topsheet for 2021. Faction expanded the waist width from 104mm to an even more versatile 106mm underfoot that, combined with Surf Zone tips, is ready to float and slash through soft snow more than ever. An updated construction brings the entire Prodigy line into sync, as the 3.0 now has identical construction to its smaller siblings. The energetic poplar core, directional twin tip shape, and elliptical sidecut radius means the Prodigy 3.0's change has all been for the better. Like its thinner-waisted siblings, the 3.0 still packs plenty of punch when the conditions get firm, thanks to XL edges and a full strength sidewall. Poppier, more playful, and an ability to hold an edge through a variety of turn shapes and conditions makes this ski into a quiver-killer for anyone out west. If you consider the mountains a playground built for slashing, smearing, surfing, and ripping, then switching to the Prodigy 3.0 is the change you need.
