    The skinniest offering ever from DPS at a svelte 79mm underfoot, the Cassiar A79 is exceptionally agile for frontside rippers. With a slalom-like turn radius of 12.5m, edge-to-edge transitions happen at the speed of thought. That intuitive feel is why DPS has nicknamed this ski The Trainer: it takes your carving game to the next level. And, unlike most slalom skis, these planks were built with the same principles and premium carbon construction as the DPS all-mountain and powder skis. That means this Cassiar A79's energy and stability comes in a featherweight package of only 1445g in the 167cm size. While loving that on-piste cord, these skis won't hold you back outside the beer league course. So, if you miss that short, snappy turn of your old race sticks but need a ski that's at home all over the mountain, the DPS Cassiar A79 should be on your shortlist.
