Blizzard Canvas 118 Skis

Our Take On The 2027 Blizzard Canvas 118:

The brand new Blizzard Canvas 118 is here to completely redefine what a deep-snow freeride ski can be. Born from years of athlete-driven prototyping, this ski represents Blizzard's ultimate nod to playful, soft-snow tomfoolery on a wide, float-hungry platform. It shares the exact same surfy construction as its narrower sibling but stretches the dimensions out for the deepest days of the winter. With significantly less metal and far more rocker, taper, and splay than the Rustler series, this thing is purpose-built to surf, smear, and pivot effortlessly through bottomless powder. A binding-width sheet of metal runs from contact point to contact point, but it's strategically placed to ensure shape retention on stomped landings rather than locking you into an unforgiving, rigid ride. To match that creative freeride style on snow, Utah-based artist and skier Penelope Misa designed the stunning topsheets using monotype printing, giving you a look as unique as the line you're about to paint on an untracked face. It's the ultimate poppy, surfy big-mountain weapon for advanced to expert riders looking to treat the deep backcountry like their personal canvas.
