Our Take:
The Black Crows Serpo returns for another year of being a sleeper favorite from our staff and customers. All available evidence seems to confirm that Black Crows can only make fun skis. Everything they dream up is somehow playful, lively, and just a really good time on snow. And that's even true when they add metal to their traditional wood core. Instead of feeling burly or unwieldy, the H-frame metal backbone of the relatively newer models – the Justis and Serpo – makes them feel smoother and more energetic. Like everything with Black Crows it's hard to explain, but it works. At 93mm-wide, the Serpo is, essentially, a slimmer version of the 100mm-waisted Justis. A deep rocker profile eases turn initiation while adding extra float in the soft stuff. A medium-stiff flex and medium-long turn radius gives the Serpo an incredibly wide range of applications: it's equally at home straight lining corduroy at full speed or making quick, short turns through tight trees. With a faster edge-to-edge transition than the Justis, the Serpo is the better choice for skiers who lean more toward aggressive frontside carving versus off-piste powder-hunting, but you won't be disappointed either way. How to Return an Item
- Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
- Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
- You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
- We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
Returning New Items
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it. Buying a gift? Don’t worry: our return window is extended around the holidays.
- Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
- All items must be re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
- Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the returned product(s), minus $10 for the prepaid return shipping label provided by Powder7. Please note: any outbound shipping charges are not refunded.
- Once we receive the return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning New Ski Boots
- Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
- New ski boots may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories
- Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box and re-packaged within a shipping box to prevent damage in transit.
- Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging and a shipping box, will be declined and sent back to you.
- We always recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before taking them outside.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.
Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Items
- Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
- Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
- When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund for the product(s) as well as a refund for standard ground shipping ($39.99 for used skis, $19.99 for used snowboards, etc.). Please note: expedited shipping costs or international shipping costs will not be refunded.
- Once we receive your return, please allow 3-5 business days for that refund transaction to appear on your account statement.

- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- We're happy to send extra pictures or talk with you about products in detail before we ship them to ensure you're purchasing a product that is best for you

We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7.
