"Stood upon a mountain top
Walked barefoot in the snow
Gave the best we had to give
How much we'll never know"
The coolest ski in the shop is also one of the most fun skis in the shop, and that creates a unique dilemma: ski them every day, or hang them on the wall? The lightweight, nimble, and absurdly playful Bent Chetler 100 is an ideal daily driver for Western mountains, where it's surfy enough for storm chasing, and stable enough for reckless speeds. Coming in at a svelte 1700g in the 180cm length, this is also an outstanding option for 50/50 skiers who spend almost as much time going uphill outside the ropes as they do lapping chairlifts, and want one ski to do it all. And, of course, for the discerning skier, it features some incomparable Grateful Dead inspired art from Chris Benchetler on the topsheets and bases. These weren't easy for us to track down, and they're the only skis in the shop we'd prefer to keep for ourselves.
