Our Take On The 2027 4FRNT Hoji:
The 4FRNT Hoji has long held a legendary status as the ultimate 50/50 freeride chameleon for skiers who refuse to choose between the resort and the backcountry. Designed around 4FRNT’s signature Multi Radius Rocker, this ski surfs deep powder with effortless float while maintaining a surprisingly planted edge when firm conditions demand control. An energetic Aspen and Maple wood core keeps the ride snappy, slashy, and incredibly responsive in tight technical terrain, yet it remains light enough underfoot that your legs won’t turn to jelly on long skin tracks. And before you call the shop in a panic, no, that hole near the tail isn't a factory defect—it’s 4FRNT’s clever 4 Lock technology, engineered to secure custom skins for sleek, fail-proof touring transitions. It bridges the gap between high-speed downhill charging and efficient uphill climbing better than almost anything in its class. We recommend the 4FRNT Hoji for advanced to expert riders who want a versatile, playful freeride weapon that feels just as at home lapping resort powder stashes as it does earned-turn backcountry bowls.
