Rossignol Skis 2025: First Look
Reviving a legend.
If you’ve been around skiing for some time, you probably remember the black and yellow, honeycombed tip, buzzing bee of a ski with the Rossignol Soul 7. That ski captured some magic. It was versatile, floaty, not too demanding, but not too wimpy in tough conditions. So, Rossignol has set out to capture some of the magic from those simpler times. Plus, some other fresh frontside skis to be excited about. Dive into the details in our 2025 Rossignol Skis preview.
What’s New
The new Rossignol Sender Soul 102 and Rallybird Soul 102 build off the new Sender Free 110 that made a huge splash last season. It gets the same playful, deeply rockered tip of the 110 with a flatter, more traditional tail. It’s no carving ski back there though, there’s still a healthy amount of rocker to keep things easy to release.
These skis have classic Rossi tech—their Air Tip tech up front to keep things light, and a titanal beam underfoot that doesn’t extend into the tip and tail. It flexes softer than that Sender 110, making it more accessible and a little less freeride-oriented.
There’s also a new Sender Soul 92 with a similar design to the 102.
Rossignol also replaces the Black Ops 118 with the Sender Free 118. Very similar to the old tank of a ski the Black Ops was, with the 186cm coming in at 5,000 grams. Woof! But look at those colors!
Rossignol also adds some skis to their frontside all-mountain line on the men’s side with the Arcade 88 and Arcade 84. Both these skis are designed to serve that top-end skier looking for high performance on trail, with some versatility to go off the trail too. The Arcade 88 handles higher speeds and longer turns, while the 84 will be more snappy and like shorter turns. Full metal sheet in 88, with just central metal underfoot in the 84. If firm snow is the name of the game, or you just like a more narrow ski, these are a great option for you.
Other Highlights
Rossi drops a boat load of new boot tech with the new Vizion. It’s a fresh take on rear-entry with a super simple design. Using one buckle to release and lock the back of the boot, you get the power transfer and support of a traditional boot, without the headache. Check out Matt using the boot in the video above.
Forza returns after dropping last year. A new Nova line for women takes the tech from the Forza and adds ladies’ colors and sizes.
Sender 106 and 94 return with minimal graphic updates. And that’s all that’s left of the directional Sender series.
