Elan Skis 2022: The First Look
In a world where sequels make you cringe more often than not, the Elan Ripstick is here to reassure us that once in a while good things can actually get better.

The plain old Ripstick has emerged in the past few seasons as an all-time favorite among both our staffers and our customers. Elan, wisely, hasn’t done much tinkering (and they didn’t mess with their lineup much at all for 2021-22). One thing they have done, though, is flirt with top-end greatness.
What the heck does that mean? Well, they like leaving the Ripstick to do its thing while they roll out Black Editions…supercharged versions of that lightweight freeride crusher.
This year, we get the greatest Ripstick Black Edition to date.
