2023-2024 Line Skis Preview

Line Skis 2024: The First Look

More Bacon.

Everybody’s got identifiers. The things they’re known for. The core traits of their personality. The things that make you…you.

For Line Skis, it’s freestyle. Making fun skis for fun skiers.

So, for 2023-2024, Line focuses their attention on their family of all-mountain freestyle skis by updating the skis under two classic names: Bacon (now shortened from “Sir Francis Bacon”) and Chronic. These two names and four ski models comprise the soul of Line’s new collection, featuring new art, shapes, and constructions.

Longtime fans of the Bacon ski, of whom there are many, will immediately salivate. Yes, that’s a fatter Bacon you see: the 2024 Line Bacon 115. And yes, that’s a super versatile Bacon 108 beside it. In the narrower waists, Bacon gives way to Chronic in the new Chronic 101 and Chronic 94.

For 2023-2024, Line listened to Ron Swanson: More. Bacon.

All of these skis feature some exciting new builds, including playful symmetrical flexes, double sidewalls for extra durability, lower swing weights with slimmed-down tips, and a proprietary Bio-Resin that massively ups Line’s sustainability game.

Oh, and the new skis are offered in expanded size ranges to make them accessible to more skiers. In other words, there are no men’s and women’s models here—just skis. That fits with an industry-wide trend toward more “unisex” ski offerings, and we’re loving it.
