Highlights from the 2019 Dynastar skis lineup:
Legend-ary
Maintaining the heritage of the Legend label, Dynastar builds some strategic updates into the line for 2019.
The X75 and X80 are new additions, while the X84 and X88 come back stronger and more powerful. The Legend’s new shape looks to really impact the wider skis in the line, offering easier turn initiation and better float—characteristics that should help them excel in a highly competitive category.
On the women’s side, the Legend W comes in at waist widths of 96, 88, 84, and 80. Dynastar aims to get maximum versatility out of the line, meeting the needs of women skiers with different styles and abilities. The construction updates from the men’s side are mirrored here.
The Proto
As skis across the industry get lighter, Dynastar introduces a new fat ski that profiles as an unapologetic big-mountain charger. At 118mm underfoot, the Proto blends race-room construction, stiff and heavy, with a key feature of many fun powder skis—a buttery, floaty tip.
