2024-2025 Kastle Skis Preview

Kastle Skis 2025: The First Look

A Paragon of premium.

Traditionally known for building premium all-mountain and frontside skis from an Austrian race room think tank, Kastle has been coloring outside the lines the last few seasons. They’ve added women’s models. Updated skis off of their usual two-year increments. Played with constructions.

Now for 2024-2025, they kick it up a gear.

What’s New

Paragon, a new all-mountain/freeride collection, replaces FX. Honestly: We think it was time (and we say that as FX lovers). The new skis mirror the chassis from the ZX, but they’re built with two full sheets of metal. Kastle says they harken back to the old FX95 HP, and we’re bought in after early on-snow testing. New waist widths at 93, 101, and 107. Full (“unisex”) size runs.

The MX skis, another classic lineup, get…wait for it…color! Those famous white topsheets are gone. Plus, the MX88 and MX84 feature a new mold with new top halves. Kastle says they’ve got more energy and more rebound. Beyond that, still Hollowtech, a splash of rocker, and two sheets of metal.

TX touring skis also are updated. The TX103 goes away in favor of the TX99. We get a women’s version, the Pika at 94mm underfoot, plus the TX88 men’s and women’s. Beyond all that, it’s just graphics updates.
