Introducing: the brand new Salomon QST Blank (left) and QST 98 (right) skis, which will debut for the 2021-2022 ski season.

Salomon is a brand on fire. That means even a global pandemic can’t stop them from releasing some exciting new products for next ski season (that’s 2021-2022, for reference). Their ascent to the freeride stratosphere has had something to do with the Shift binding, Cody Townsend’s “The Fifty” project, and…oh yeah…rad skis.

Now boasting two (2!) full collections of all-mountain skis, Salomon’s got sticks for every skier. Last year, it was a family of new hard-chargers called Stance. Now, it’s two new additions to the QST freeride line: the QST 98 and the QST Blank.

Game on!

What’s New

QST 98. Replaces the QST 99. New, more playful shape and rocker profile plus a refined sidecut profile. The more playful all-mountain skis in Salomon’s collection when compared to the Stance 96.

Zack says: “Wow. These skis are awesome!”

QST Blank. Replaces the QST 118. At 112mm underfoot, it’s a super versatile freeride ski. Metal underfoot with Salomon’s CFX blend in the front third and rear third of the ski. Also…psychedelic bases!

Matt says: “Stronger and more fun on groomers and in mixed snow than most skis this wide. They haul!”
