Two weeks into the new decade, a dozen Powder7 staffers joined Steamboat Powdercats during a snow-filled storm cycle for northern Colorado. Whether you call it dumb luck—the trip was booked during summer—or the alignment of the stars or karma, we reaped some serious powder bounty.
The winter deities unloaded nearly three feet of snow on Buffalo Pass before and during our trip. That good fortune was amplified by the classy and fun professionalism of the Steamboat Powdercats guides and the pure stoke of our staffers. Somebody’s gotta ski all that snow, right?
