To be a fly on the wall as we developed the Skicationer was to watch ski-crazed shop employees meticulously scheme and test features and designs. Mad scientists or winter professionals? Both. We thought about handle placement. Weight distribution. Zipper orientation. Straps. Buckles. Heck, we tried the bags out so much we accidentally left a pair of rep demo skis in one and forgot to give it back. The end result?
