Powder7 has once again been named one of Outside’s Best Places to work!
As we celebrate 12 years of Powder7, we are thrilled to announce that we’ve been included for the third year in a row in Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work.
As we’ve grown, with our staff getting bigger each year, we have consistently tried to maintain high standards as both a business and a workplace. When your whole existence is centered around one of the most fun activities in the world, some things are obvious: having a shop employee demo fleet, reimbursing staff for their ski passes, pulling together epic company ski trips, and so on. Others can be more challenging, like responsibly improving benefits packages and wages and trying to meet the needs of 25-plus ambitious, smart, and fun-loving people. Jordan and I have always wanted Powder7 to give people a comfortable, focused, and appealing work environment. We’ve wondered over the years how we can do more.
Luckily, amazing people have found their way to our shop. Like, over and over. From the handful of folks who have been the Powder7 core for years to the badass seasonal employees who start fresh each fall, our staffers make this place what it is. They’re the ones mounting and fixing skis, custom-fitting boots, packing boxes, helping customers, and bringing our mission to life.
Thanks to the team and to our customers. Happy turns this season!
