Nordica Skis 2027: The First Look
Nordica has always been known for their planted and directional all-mountain skis, but they’re starting to seriously break into the playful freeride scene with the Unleashed skis. It’s not like these skis are new. But, with a brand new construction and new molds, the Unleashed has a whole new look and feel. Not to mention, a ravmped boot that we’ve been loving. Dive into our Nordica skis 2027 preview for all the details.
What’s New
The big news is a major update to the Unleashed series. Two brand new skis in the Unleashed 106 and Unleashed 106 CA, with a shape and construction change to the Unleashed 114. The Unleashed 98 and 120 are unchanged.
So what’s different about the skis? Nordica replaces the terrain specific metal with a new metal strip. It’s about binding width wide, and runs just above and below the binding. Overall, you get less metal to give you a more playful and lively feel. You also get a poplar wood core, with a carbon strip that runs along the metal strip and all the way through the tip and tail.

On the boot side, the Nordica Promachine gets the same updates that their other boots have gotten with their “tri-force” boot frame. The ultra stiff frame gives you good power transfer and lateral stiffness, and allows them to use a more progressive plastic in the rest of the boot.
Other Highlights

The mega popular Enforcer series returns with fresh new graphics. The women’s compliment in the Santa Ana skis just come back unchanged from 2025/2026.
The carving skis in their line also come back mostly unchanged, with an updated Dobermann DC Dept. carving ski that adds a thicker titanal layer in the double core technology.
