Faction consistently delivers some of our staff’s favorite ski models. The Prodigy is a versatile, playful option that’s won the skier souls of everyone from intermediates to steezy experts. The Dancer is one of our favorite directional, metal laminate skis. And the touring skis? Pretty rad, too. This year, Faction brings back much of the collection with some fresh graphics. We dive into the details in our Faction skis 2025 preview.

Faction Skis 2025: First Look
What’s New
The major news from Faction this year is the consolidated Studio series. Faction’s narrow, park-specific skis have always been called the Studio skis. But, this year the ski formerly known as the Mana (or Candide, all the same ski) now falls into this name, too. Frankly, we love the change. The Studios now encompass all the “freestyle” skis, with a huge range of waist widths to choose from. The construction of the skis hasn’t changed, so if you liked an old Studio or Mana/Candide, you’ll love the Studio. Just a name and sick graphic change.

The Dancer series gets an updated top sheet, with a new glossy graphic. The bases also get full color.

Other Highlights
The Prodigy series gets fresh graphics. They drop the X series but still offer two color options in shorter lengths. The “ladies” graphics are beautiful. Each one is inspired by a different region of the States.

The lightweight, touring-oriented models return unchanged. Check out the Agent for a directional shape (the same as the Dancer, just no metal) and the La Machine for a heavily rockered shape.

As always, the specialty Le Mogul and Le Mono and Le Mono Split all return. Fan favorites. Check out our owner Jordan Jones shredding Le Mono in powder.
