Everybody needs a ski community.

Not to be too forward, but we want this to be more than a transactional relationship. Sure, we aggressively sell ski gear all winter. But we also do our best to contribute to the Colorado ski community by hosting a slew of events each season. Here’s a rundown of those, as well as some others in the area that you’ll see us at in our off hours.
Check back for updates, and we hope to see you on the hill, at the brewery, or here at HQ!

November 11th — Group Communication in the Backcountry w/ VNTRbirds @ Powder7 HQ
Where: Powder7 Ski Shop
When: 6pm-7:30pm
For ladies interested in backcountry skiing and continuing education, join us and VNTRbirds for an evening of backcountry education and conversation with Eryka Thorley, AIARE Lead Educator with over two decades of experience in the mountains.
We’ll dive into the role communication plays in building strong backcountry partnerships, from finding the right people to travel with and navigating group dynamics to speaking up, addressing conflict, and having the harder conversations before they become bigger problems.
Whether you’re heading into the backcountry with longtime partners or building new connections in the mountains, this tech talk will offer practical insights to help you become a more thoughtful, confident, and effective member of your team.
December 1st — OpenSnow Weather Talk w/ Joel Gratz @ Powder7 HQ
When: 7pm / Doors @ 6:30pm
Every early season, founding meteorologist at OpenSnow, Joel Gratz pays us a visit down at the shop to chat about weather patterns, weather forecasting, and what we can expect for the upcoming season. This year, we’re sure to hear about the incoming Super El Niño and what the early-season precipitation can tell us about the incoming season.
We’ll have beverages available. Bring your weather questions!
