What’s it like to be a Freeride World Tour legend?
In the second episode of her new video web series, Powder7 athlete Veronica Paulsen joins legendary freeride skier Reine Barkered in the final days of his Freeride World Tour career. How do you stay at the top of the game for 15 years? And what’s next after over a decade of competing? Sometimes, the most important aspect of skiing is to enjoy yourself.
About Veronica’s Project
The freeskiing world is full of innovative and inspiring individuals; many don’t receive the spotlight they deserve.
That’s where skier Veronica Paulsen comes in.
Her new web series will focus on the community of freeskiing, and the many different paths freeskiing can take you. Originally inspired by Veronica’s adventures as an athlete and the many folks she’s met along the way, Veronica aims to pull the curtain back on what it’s like to be a pro skier these days.
Each episode will profile a new athlete, their backstory, and what makes them tick. As host, Veronica will dive deeper into their story, join them on the bootpack, and even be on their tails as they send features. Think Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown, but with less food and more powder.
