Everybody needs a ski community.

Not to be too forward, but we want this to be more than a transactional relationship. Sure, we aggressively sell ski gear all winter. But we also do our best to contribute to the Colorado ski community by hosting a slew of events each season. Here’s a rundown of those, as well as some others in the area that you’ll see us at in our off hours.
Check back for updates, and we hope to see you on the hill, at the brewery, or here at HQ!
September 19 – CU Boulder Freeride Rail Jam
We’ll be tabling at CU’s famed on-campus rail jam. It’s a great season kick-off event, and we’re stoked to get to meet some new faces on campus. They’re partnering with Level1 for the event, so even if you’re not a college student, check out Level1’s film night at the Boulder Theater if you live up that way. There will be another Level1 showing in Denver at the Oriental the following night.
October 8 – MSP “After the Snowfall” Film Premiere
Our friends at Matchstick Productions are hosting a screening of their newest ski film, After the Snowfall, at the Buffalo Rose in downtown Golden. Screenings at 6:30pm and 9pm. As a sponsor, we will be there! Come say hi and try to win some gear.
October 28 – Ski Season Kickoff at Buffalo Rose

We are hosting our annual ski season kickoff bash in downtown Golden at the Buffalo Rose! On tap this year: DISCO. Apres Inferno will feature music, giveaways, raffle, custom cocktails and food, a costume contest, and a dance off. Bring your disco balls and flair.
Thanks to our co-sponsors Icelantic and Freeskier!
Time: 5pm – 9pm
Admission: Free entry, no tickets or RSVP required

November 13 – Tunes ‘n’ Brews at Golden Mill
Our ski techs will be slinging tunes once again at the Golden Mill in downtown Golden! Live music, drink specials from Avery, and insanely good deals on ski tunes. For $25, you get an edge sharpen and belt wax (quick tune), plus a free beer. Tough to beat!
Note: We recommend arriving as early as you can. We will stop accepting new tunes once we hit the maximum number our techs can tune by 8pm.
Time: 5pm – 8pm
Admission: Free entry. Tune payment of $25 gets you a free beer.
December 4 – Chasing Powder 101 with Joel Gratz
The man, the myth, the legend. OpenSnow’s Joel Gratz returns to Powder7 to talk about following forecasts to chase powder! Stay tuned for more. This event will be hosted at HQ.
