Robust, wind and waterproof hardshell jacket for alpine activities. Whether on icy north faces, during stormy ascents or severe snowfall on the summit - the ORTLER jacket and pants are our LIGHTWEIGHTS for Alpinists! For the MERINO NAKED SHEEP line we concentrated on the ESSENTIALS. LOW WEIGHT, PROTECTION and COMFORT. The products in this line are light but also robust and comfortable. Just like our naked sheep, here merino wool takes a back seat and is only used in certain areas for increased comfort. This 3L hardshell for women is perfect for alpine tours. The robust outer material provides protection in any weather, for any activity - and is still ultra-light. The 3L ORTLER JACKET weighs in at just 390 grams (women's size M). The outer material is completely wind and waterproof thanks to the DERMIZAXNX membrane, arguably the highest-performance membrane on the market, without compromising on breathability or freedom of movement! As far as features go, we've focused on the important things: The hardshell jacket has a two-way zipper for an optimal fit - even with a climbing harness. A two-way zipper in the underarm area provides cooling during sweat-inducing climbs. Merino mesh inserts around the chin and the 2-way adjustable storm hood offer comfort and protection in rain, snow or icy conditions. And thanks to the intense colors, you'll be highly visible with the ORTLER 3L hardshell, even in alpine terrain!
For the get-up-and-go-getters. The ones who fill the gas tank and prep the percolator the night before. The "why don't you just meet me at the mountain," ones. There are plenty of things that can slow you down out there, these pants are not one of them. Combining Dynashell 3L waterproofing on exposed areas (knees, thighs, and seat) and Dynastretch breathability everywhere else, the Beast Hybrid Pants provide just what you need, right where you need it. The sportive fit contours the body comfortably while allowing room for easy layering, extending the seasonal versatility of the pants. 2Way zips open leg vents for hands-on temperature control. Adjustable waist and hems keep it all snug, and a helmet-compatible hood keep you secure. Combine with the Beast Hybrid Jacket and there's just no stopping you now.
Boots are sized in Mondo sizing. Here is a sizing chart for your convenience. In general, beginners want a boot that directly corresponds to their street shoe size. Intermediates should go a half size smaller. Experts should go a full size smaller.
Finding women’s specific, lightweight touring boots is no easy feat. Salomon heard you loud and clear and presents the all new, Salomon MTN Summit Pro W. With a slightly stiffer flex than the Summit Pure, the MTN Summit Pro offers strong downhill performance in an efficient climbing package. Hitting a feathery weight at just over 2000 grams for the pair, these boots are the perfect partner in crime for long hut trips, early morning resort skins, and daily backcountry skiing. The Summit Pro is loaded with user-friendly features. A Boa fit system quickly tightens and releases tension to give you that comfy fit on the way up, and secure fit on the way down. The Boa system also automatically tightens the Touring Belt, which acts as an instep buckle to provide stellar heel lock and hold. Not only does this give you better downhill performance similar to alpine boots, but also reduces friction while climbing uphill. The new sole is not compatible with hybrid style bindings like the Salomon Shift or Duke PT. Summits don’t feel so far away now, do they? These shells run on the short side. If you are in between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
Robust, water-resistant gloves with thin merino lining for demanding ski tours. Ortovox's Tour Gloves will be your loyal companions on every ski tour, because they are specially designed for long ascents and demanding ski tours. The comfortably soft merino fibers on the inside ensure excellent wear comfort, while the thin merino wool lining provides additional warmth, and the shell protects against wind and light precipitation. And these softshell gloves are very breathable and quick drying. The practical pull-on aid is particularly advantageous in freezing temperatures, when cold fingers want to get straight back into the warm. Soft, elastic Merino Fleece Light at the wrist acts as a pulse warmer and effectively keeps the wind and cold at bay. Inserts made from goatskin leather with punchhole reinforcement on the palm always ensure a good grip and provide the necessary robustness for intensive use. The particularly elastic soft thumb area provides maximum freedom of movement and ensures that you have a good grip on everything -- no matter the temperature.

The Kastle TX 93 returns with just a topsheet update for 2022-2023, meaning one of the most versatile touring skis on the market right now is ready to rip skin tracks once again. With a little extra girth, the TX93 packs a little more punch in powder and mixed snow than the narrower TX87. Meanwhile, it is quicker on the up and the down than the new TX103, meaning it translates better to technical ski mountaineering. Long camber gives you reliable edge grip in the sketchiest places, while a splash of tip rocker keeps you on top of soft and mixed snow rather than getting caught up in it. The gist: the TX93 is all about balance. And balance can make or break alpine ski adventures. We recommend the TX93 to uphill travelers looking to tick off some big lines when conditions are right and spend long days linking dreamy lines in moderate powder until then.
Shrouded in mystery for years, and known by many aliases, the ATK Raider 12 binding is now here in its original form: ATK. ATK is the binding company everyone wishes they were, using full metal constructions, and making insanely light high-performing ski bindings. At Powder7 we went directly to the source for the R12, in order to get the best and the purest. The Raider 12 brings in a new era in ski binding technology. Weighing in at a scant 350 grams per binding, yet still featuring a fully adjustable twist and vertical release in the heel, the R12 redefines what a lightweight tech binding can be. Additionally, it comes with 5 different heel riser heights, so you'll adapt to any skin track you encounter. Blow away your now heavy tech binding setup, and your friends on the skin track with the Raider 12.Don't forget to pair your Raider 12 with the Freeride Spacer for the maximum in performance and power-transfer
Click here for ski binding DIN Chart & Calculator. DIN is a scale of the force required for a binding to release. The lower a DIN number, the easier a binding releases; the higher the DIN number, the harder it is for a binding to release.

Backcountry skiers ranging from pros like Cody Townsend and Owen Leeper to our dorky marketing guy trust Pomoca skins with their uphill exploits. The Climb Pro S-Glide is one of the best day-to-day skins in the industry for people who want to dust the skintrack to leave more time for pow turns. Light, efficient, and glidey, these skins do exactly that. But they will not fall apart on a multi-day trip, either. Why? In climbing skins, glue is the make-or-break ingredient...and the Climb Pro S-Glide features some of the most skier-friendly glue in the business. As in, you can actually peel your skins apart without giving yourself a hernia, but they stick all day. But if you need to know one thing about the Pro S-Glide, know this: It glides even better than Pomoca's full-mohair version while adding the superior grip of nylon. That makes it the winner.
The lightweight and exceptionally durable VIA is packed with features designed for backcountry use and built to outlast the demanding abuse of mountain travel. An excellent all round ski and trekking pole.
