With the industry pushing for more skis in the &#8220;All Mountain&#8221; category, the Enforcer 100 was an easy score for Nordica with more aggressive Western skiers. Built with two sheets of metal and a wood core, this thing rips.<\/p>\n<p>Realizing how powerful the Enforcer 100 was, Nordica drafted up the Enforcer 93 and the Enforcer 110, with the same profile as the Enforcer 100. What they quickly realized was that narrower skis probably shouldn&#8217;t have the same rocker profile as the 100 and the 110, because after all, it&#8217;s designed to ski more on the frontside.<\/p>\n<p>Following three years of R&amp;D and prototyping, Nordica releases the all new Enforcer and Santa Ana for the 2020\/2021 season. With new lengths, the core now differs slightly to reflect the skier&#8217;s profile that would be on that particular length. If you&#8217;re on the 165cm, you probably don&#8217;t want the same profile as the guy skiing on the 191cm. On top of the added lengths, the Enforcer 94 now features less rocker and more sidecut, appropriate for the kind of ripping and dipping you&#8217;ll be doing on this bad boy. Still with two sheets of metal, Nordica adds a carbon chassis to the core of the skis to lighten it up, and make cruisers more enjoyable and approachable.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Enforcer 100<\/strong> returns with the same updates as the Enforcer 94, but with more rocker at the tips and tails, to provide better float in deeper snow.<\/p>\n<p>When we found out Nordica&#8217;s plans to add a <strong>Santa Ana 104 Free<\/strong> to the ladies lineup, the women of Powder7 rejoiced. The same mold shapes as the men&#8217;s skis, the Santa Ana skis now differ in construction. What used to be a poplar wood core with two sheets of metal, now enters the market with a beech\/poplar wood core with only one sheet of metal. This makes the Santa Ana more approachable and fun for skiers of all backgrounds. This one sheet of metal varies throughout the line. The narrower skis contain more metal than the wider skis, providing better edge hold on hard snow. The <strong>Santa Ana 98<\/strong> (which replaces the Santa Ana 100), <strong>93<\/strong>, and <strong>88<\/strong> all feature the same changes.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10142\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10142\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10142 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_3287-1024x953.jpg\" alt=\"Nordica skis 2021\" width=\"1024\" height=\"953\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_3287-1024x953.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_3287-300x279.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_3287-768x714.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG_3287.jpg 1361w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10142\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Santa Ana now only features one sheet of metal, differing in the width of each ski.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With all new topsheets, the Enforcer&#8217;s and Santa Ana&#8217;s have a fun splash of color that reflect the new pop and fun we love about the skis.<\/p>\n<h3>Other Highlights<\/h3>\n<p>In a year of many changes for Nordica, they decided to add more work to their plate with the addition of the new <strong>HF boots<\/strong>. These rear entry boots are easy peasy to throw on. So easy, you might be able to jump right in.
