Known for their German engineering and stiff constructions, you often associate Volkl with hard charging and crud bashing around the resort. But if you look a little closer, household freeski names are out there riding on the shop favorite <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Volkl-Revolt-121-Skis\/for-sale\">Revolt 121<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Volkl-Revolt-104-Skis\/for-sale\">104<\/a><\/strong>, and getting podiums on the narrower park and pipe specific models. This year, they dive deeper into the freeski world with a brand new progressive ski for our playful skiers out there. Take a look at what Volkl skis are cooking up in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2027 Volkl Skis: First Look <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"2026-2027 Volkl Skis Preview | Powder7\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lDNTtYypwMo?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/www.powder7.com\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the huge accolades and praise the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Volkl-Revolt-101-Skis\/for-sale?srsltid=AfmBOooffVf1bp6gnGN0SP5fx_cr_hSfMxKw_hXz2sp1LBf3aPmzmPWb\"><strong>Volkl Revolt 101<\/strong> <\/a>recieved this season, Volkl decided to keep things rolling for a bit. There&#8217;s a new Revolt on the block, and while it&#8217;s quite different than the 101, it&#8217;s certainly in the same vein as some familiar favorites. Enter: the <strong>Volkl Revolt 112<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"837\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/volkl-2027-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19111\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>The whole new Revolt collection, widest to narrowest<\/em>, <em>with art from Emiliano Donaggio. Fun fact: he&#8217;s the father of Volkl athlete Leonardo Donaggio. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;112?!&#8221; You might exclaim, knowing that there&#8217;s another Revolt just two milimeters away in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Volkl-Revolt-114-Skis\/for-sale\">Revolt 114<\/a><\/strong>. This ski differs quite a bit. You&#8217;ll notice it first in the shape. While the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Volkl-Revolt-114-Skis\/for-sale\">114 <\/a><\/strong>carries a more directional tail and low slung rocker, the Revolt 112 delivers a more classic progressive shape. Twin tip-esque with ample rocker in the tip and tail, higher splay off the snow, and taper that&#8217;s more symmetrical between the two. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Revolt 114 and 112 also have different constructions on the inside. Coming in a full 500 grams for the pair lighter than the 114, the Revolt 112 feels quite a bit more flickable and certainly easier to manuver in the air. The 101 and 114 live in a more charge-y, directional, but still playful category. Think, &#8220;multi carve&#8221; for the M and C in MC, offering the most versatile turning shape between the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Volkl-Racetiger-GS-Skis\/for-sale\">GS<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Volkl-Racetiger-SL-Skis\/for-sale\">SL<\/a><\/strong>. The MC replaces the old RC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the new ski, the Racetigers all get a new sidecut and tweaked shape to improve turn intiation and to make the skis less locked into a single turn shape.
