G3 makes quality alpine touring and backcountry gear. You can count on it. Period. For next year, G3 is building on the success of the Ion Binding by making a few different versions. It will also come in a lightweight version called the Ion 10 with a release value in the 4-10 DIN range. The regular Ion will be back with a new name: the Ion 12. Finally, there will be a lightweight, high tension version called the Ion LT12. This LT12 version will come without brakes, instead it will have a leash.

\nAnother change you’ll see next season is the graphics and colors of the new climbing skins. You’ll still see the models you’ve grown to know and love (or envy of your touring partner) like the Alpinist, the Elle, and the Expedition.
