Although the Elan skis may look the same, they have changed. The 2014-15 skis still have topsheet designs from the Porsche Design Studio. The All Mountain Amphibio Series have lighter cores for a more lively feel. All the models are back for the new year including our customer’s favorite Amphibio 88 XTI<\/strong>. The Morpheo Series (pictured to the right) is another all mountain offering from Elan. Most of these skis have Parabolic Rocker which shortens the effective length of the ski enabling skiers to make effortless turns. Most of these skis have Waveflex technology and a waist width in the 70-76mm range. Think of the Morpheo as a less aggressive, more carving oriented all mountain series.<\/p>\n

2015 Elan Illumnia Womens Skis<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Spectrum Series is back, again with a new core. These will have a laminated woodcore, Amphibio rocker profile, and ALUblade in the ALU versions or SST Sidewall in the regular versions. The Spectrum comes in 115, 105, 95, and 85mm waist widths. The Freeski collection have the innovative rocker profiles TBT, BC Rocker, and Jib Rocker. The Boomerang TBT is the big mountain freeski, the Puzzle TBT is the more slopestyle oriented freeski.<\/p>\n

The Elan Junior line is all new this year. Their innovative U-Flex Technology won Elan an ISPO ski design Gold Award. The idea was to bring extreme flex on a short length (think about the new super flexy Nike running shoes). This idea with a Waveflex style technology on kids skis makes it much easier (and more fun!) for kids to get out on the hill. These skis even have all mountain rocker in them. Finally kids are getting some great technology in their skis!<\/p>\n
