Graphically, Head knocks it out of the park in 2015.  Their new women’s Joy Series, has the best graphics I’ve ever seen on a women’s line of skis.  Clean, simple edges and lively colors (not to mention some serious forward-thinking technology) thanks to Head conducting a focus group with women from around the world.<\/p>\n

The Big Joy<\/strong> (110mm), Great Joy<\/strong> (98mm), Total Joy<\/strong> (85mm), Super Joy<\/strong> (75mm) are all made of Graphene and a lightweight wood core.  The last two in the above lineup, the Absolut Joy<\/strong> (79mm) and Pure Joy<\/strong> (73mm) are made of Graphene and a lightweight composite core.  Haven’t heard of Graphene?  It’s ok, its inventors only won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2010<\/a>.  It’s not only incredibly strong, but also incredibly lightweight.<\/p>\n

In their women’s lineup as well as their men’s all-mountain line, the Rev Series, Head shows they are committed to introducing more people to the sport of skiing with some great skis at killer prices.  Once again, we had to confirm that there is not a typo in Head’s pricing guide, the Rev 80 Pro will retail for $599 with bindings again in 2015.<\/p>\n

The 2015 i.Supershape series, while relatively unchanged is another graphical homerun.  The main improvement made for the 2015 series is a wider, spring-loaded binding platform.<\/p>\n
