They have a ski and pair of boots for everyone, wherever they&#8217;re at in their ski journey. The Mindbender skis are some of our favorites for versatile all-mountain use. On the other hand, the new Reckoner series offers tremendous freestyle fun. The one ski they&#8217;re missing from the lineup? Frontside carvers for everyone. They are filling a hole in the ski lineup this year, with the new <strong>Blur<\/strong> skis. These are frontside carving skis, designed to versatile, relatively accessible, and quite fun. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"132\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/k2-skis-2026-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17937\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/k2-skis-2026-3.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/k2-skis-2026-3-300x57.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>The Blur XT graphics. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The highest performance ski in this line is the <strong>Blur XT. <\/strong>K2 built this ski in a full size run and is considered fully unisex. They&#8217;re using recycled H-beam titanal (metal shaped like an H in the core of the ski), flax, and bio-resin for dampening. Like many of their other skis, they use a lighter weight aspen core. You&#8217;ve got a properly traditional shape, with tip rocker and a flat tail. The XT is 83mm underfoot, with a tight turn radius. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other skis in the line include a <strong>Blur 74 <\/strong>(with the same rocker profile as the XT), and a <strong>Blur 79 and Blur 76<\/strong> that feature deeper tip rocker and a slight rise at the tail. You can get a deep dive in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/ski-boots-preview\/\"><strong>new boot preview<\/strong>.<\/a> But for those who just need the skinny: the Cortex feautres the new dual BOA design with a BOA dial on both the lower shell and upper cuff. It&#8217;s a low volume boot a 97mm last, with a committed ankle and heel pocket. It&#8217;s thick-walled, and designed to be a performance downhill boot for resort use. They ski badass.
