Volkl Skis 2026: The First Look <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The German engineers and ski nerds across the pond have been hard at work building new skis and updating some key models. Last season, Volkl updated the cult classic Mantra with the M7 Mantra<\/a><\/strong>. We thought the updates were a huge win, with staffers saying this is the best Mantra yet. This year, Volkl is turning their attention to some of the more narrow models in their lineup, with a major new update, along with one brand new ski. What’s New<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year, Volkl is launching the new Mantra 84<\/strong>, as well as new updates to the Mantra 88<\/a>. <\/strong>To jog your memory, the ski formerly known as the Kendo became the Mantra 88 last season. New for 2026, Volkl made most of the changes to the tip, with a new tip shape, new carbon tailoring in the tip, and an overall stiffer flex. It’s still got the snappy and lively profile that skiers have come to love from the ski, just with an overall smoother and more precise ride through the front of the ski. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Mantra 84 <\/strong>mirrors the construction of the rest of the Mantra series, just on a more narrow profile. This will be the new Swiss Army Knife of the East. Or, if you just love a frontside carver that has a bit more all-mountain chassis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may have heard already, but there’s also a special new V Werks 100<\/a> <\/strong>ski. This features some of the latest technology and designs from Volkl as they celebrate their 100 years in ski design. The V Werks 100 has one of the most smooth rides on the market right now. The CNC-milled woodcore has a unique shape, and is actually split into two pieces. There’s also extremely delicate and intricate carbon tailoring, which you can see in the image below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
