Dynastar skis for 2024 continues to serve up a clean line that&#8217;s delivered high performance for years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynastarskis2024_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14087\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynastarskis2024_1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynastarskis2024_1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynastarskis2024_1-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption><em>The new M-Cross gets a splash of marble from the popular, freeride oriented M-Frees. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s New<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dynastar introduces the new <strong>M-Cross<\/strong> line as an all-mountain carver. The M-Cross fits a sweet spot between their 4&#215;4 Speed carvers and the all-mountain leaning M-Pros. In the M-Cross, you&#8217;ll find less rocker than the M-Pros but more than the 4x4s. The idea is to give you better edge grip if you&#8217;re spending more time lapping the trails, without being as demanding as a traditional race oriented ski. There&#8217;s a healthy amount of sidecut and taper, and the skis are about 25% lighter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"2023-2024 Dynastar M-Cross 88 First Look | Powder7\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4A03ho4L-M0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of their traditional hybrid PU\/Poplar core found in the M-Pros and M-Frees, the M-Cross uses their new Hybrid Core 2.0. Dynastar uses additional wood stringers and strips in different orientations to stiffen the ski up and add torsional rigidity. This replaces some of the fiberglass and titanal needed, making a lighter ski, that&#8217;s greener too. There is an additional titanal insert in the 88 for extra stability. The ladies&#8217; line, E-Cross, shares the same construction with just a slightly thinner core. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other Highlights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynastarskis2024_2.jpg\" alt=\"dynsatar skis 2024\" class=\"wp-image-14088\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynastarskis2024_2.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynastarskis2024_2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynastarskis2024_2-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We get a new <strong>M-Tour 108,<\/strong> expanding the M-Tours from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Dynastar-M-Tour-99-Skis\/for-sale\">M-Tour 99<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>M-Tour 90<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The directional all-mountain and freeride <strong>M-Pros<\/strong> come back unghanged this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>M-Free<\/strong> series returns unchanged, with the same glossy marble art work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another big perk across Dynastar&#8217;s lineup? Fully colored bases on all M-Pros, M-Tours, and M-Frees. It&#8217;s a little thing, sure, but certainly makes us feel cooler.
