Faction Skis 2024: The First Look <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le Massif. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Faction always delivers freeride performance across their lineup. From the playful Prodigy 4<\/a><\/strong>\u2014that won a powder pick during our ski test last year\u2014and the self-explanatory Le Mono, Faction skis are some we always have out on the mountain. This year, Faction brings back many of our favorites back with freshened up graphics, with a few more additions to round out a collection with a little something for everyone. Let’s dive in to the Faction skis lineup for 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s New<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We were psyched on the release of the La Machine collection last year, and this year Faction brings a new size to the lineup with the La Machine Massive<\/strong>. Fitting right between the versatile Mega<\/strong><\/a> (109mm underfoot) and the OG La Machine Max<\/a><\/strong> (126mm), the Massive offers great powder float in a more reasonable package for us searching for powder stashes weeks after storms. At 117mm underfoot, you’ll find quicker edge grip and better bite if you find yourself navigating some variable snow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faction also releases a all-new park specific ski: the Studio. The new line features two new symmetrical twin tip models to help you dial in your park laps. Both are designed with carbon weaves and rubber stomp pads for big landings and to keep a strong torsional flex. You’ll also find 7mm sidewalls, for maximum edge hold and strength. The Studio 0 <\/strong>and 0X <\/strong>are narrower and specially tweaked for pipe skiing, while the Studio 1<\/strong> and 1X <\/strong>are 90mm underfoot for all-around park use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fan and staff favorite Prodigy <\/strong>skis come back with fresh art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The more freeride and soft snow oriented Mana<\/a><\/strong> skis also get subtle new designs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lightweight freeride Agent <\/a><\/strong>series returns unchanged. The directional and metal laminate Dancer<\/strong> skis come back unchanged, although the Dancer 2<\/a><\/strong> gets a new color. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, and legendary Le Mono<\/a><\/strong> gets a new paint job too. Groovy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
