Dive into all the new skis and peek some fresh graphics in our Black Crows skis 2027 preview. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s New<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"2026-2027 Black Crows Skis Preview | Powder7\" width=\"1020\" height=\"574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PaN_qSE1_QM?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/www.powder7.com\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest new ski on the wall is the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Vena-Cor-Skis\/for-sale\">Vena Cor<\/a><\/strong>. This is a riff on the uber-popular <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Mirus-Cor-Skis\/for-sale\">Mirus Cor<\/a><\/strong> with a matching swallow tail design, but a little different consturction and shape. The Vena Cor lands at a 100mm underfoot compard to the Mirus Cor&#8217;s 84mm, giving it a more all-mountain chassis for surfing around in soft snow. You&#8217;ll also find more rocker in the tip and tail and no metal underfoot. The new Anima gets a new ash plate underfoot to help with binding retention and stiffen things right underfoot. They&#8217;ve also given the ski a more straight shape to widen the turn radius and really slot it in as the big mountain charger. The Anima is our 116mm underfoot big mountain charger, complimenting the more pow surf <strong>Nocta<\/strong>, which returns next year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/blackcrows-2027-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19374\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>New graphics on the big mountain collection, with an updated Anima in green, and the big Nocta on the left.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re more of the walk uphill type, select skis in the lightweight touring <strong>Freebird <\/strong>collection get an upgrade after many years of no news. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Navis-Freebird-Skis\/for-sale\">Navis<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Camox-Freebird-Skis\/for-sale\">Camox Freebird<\/a>, <\/strong>and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Orb-Freebird-Skis\/for-sale\">Orb<\/a>, <\/strong>all get new constructions. Mostly in an effort to save some weight, with those skis losing anywhere from 180-200 grams from previous generations. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Corvus-Skis\/for-sale\">Corvus<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Atris-Skis\/for-sale\">Atris<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Atris-Birdie-Skis\/for-sale\">Atris Birdie<\/a><\/strong> get new graphics but no construction changes. The skinnier skis like the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Camox-Skis\/for-sale\">Camox<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Sato-Skis\/for-sale\">Sato<\/a>, <\/strong>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/Black-Crows-Octo-Skis\/for-sale\"><strong>Octo<\/strong><\/a> are fully carryover.
