So for this year, they&#8217;re sticking with what they know. No big changes across the line, except for one major new ski that will make its debut in Italy in just a week. This one is park specific. With a true twin and center mount, the Decode has a single objective of being a supportive landing platform for big hits and landing switch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A unique feature you&#8217;ll find on the Decode is the full tip to tail ABS sidewalls. You can find ABS sidewalls around the ski industry. But, not many designed this way. Atomic wanted to do this to give you a mega damp feeling and improve durability, without losing any pop. They also get a funky new HRZN Tech, that&#8217;s shaped a little differently than the spoon style on the tip and tail of the Bent. This has a bit more of a &#8220;spear&#8221; shape, to make butters and jibs easier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, this ski offers a lot of stability for big landings, with plenty of pop for energy coming off of hits when you load the ski. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"770\" src=\"https:\/\/www.powder7.com\/ski-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/atomic-skis-27-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19317\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>A shot of the new Nexus boots, with the 120 and men&#8217;s 110 on the left, and the women&#8217;s two Nexus colors in the 95.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the boot side, there&#8217;s a few new models like a double BOA <strong>Hawx Prime, <\/strong>and new &#8220;rear entry&#8221; <strong>Nexus <\/strong>boot.
