The most technical mitten Swany makes, the X Cell Mitt does it all. The X Cell Mitts feature Triplex Alpha, a technology that makes the mittens warmer than ever before. By combining different weights of PrimaLoft Gold with Cross Core Technology, Swany is able to make the X Cell Mitt 50% warmer than a similar weight of just PrimaLoft Gold. In addition to Triplex Alpha, the X Cell Mitt contains Volcotek Heat Shield, which promotes blood circulation to increase your body temperature. Talk about warmth. Makes sense for cold conditions, but what about more mild weather? Zip open the utility heat pocket for quick ventilation. And don't worry about water seeping through - Dryfinger II inserts allow moisture to pass from the inside, without letting water get in from the outside. This highly waterproof mitt is designed with durable leather, and is reinforced on hard-wearing places, so buying a new pair of mittens next season should be the last of your worries.
The Beacon has quickly become, well, a beacon of the Zeal collection. With its revolutionary Observation Deck technology, the Beacon allows you to see more on the mountain – about 20% more, vertically. Using the physics behind air traffic control towers, Zeal created a goggle that mimics this design. The bottom of the lens sits much closer to the face, creating an angled lens, which significantly increases your vertical peripheral. This unique design coupled with Zeals top of the line lenses makes for an amazing and necessary piece of equipment. Boots are sized in Mondo sizing. Here is a sizing chart for your convenience. In general, beginners want a boot that directly corresponds to their street shoe size. Intermediates should go a half size smaller. Experts should go a full size smaller.

One of the top products we carry for ladies, the Lofoten Gore-Tex insulated Jacket is a partly insulated, waterproof ski jacket that works equally well for big mountain freeriders and everyday skiers alike. We love this model for its versatility: highly waterproof and windproof Gore-Tex and PrimaLoft Silver insulation team up to provide the best of both worlds. Gore-Tex protects you from stormy days and keeps you dry, while the PrimaLoft provides a layer of warmth right in the jacket. We find this jacket ideal for skiing in cold, winter conditions or for those who prefer a little extra warmth. At the same time, the materials stay breathable, and Norrona includes underarm ventilation to keep things flowing when climbing to the top of lines or tearing up the descent. Coming fit with many of the same features and style of the Gore-Tex Pro jacket, this jacket is no compromise when it comes to functionality for long days out in the mountains.
When doing your snow dances and planning vacations to Powder Town, you'll want the right gear for the occasion. The all new, Patagonia Insulated Powder Town Pants replace the beloved Snowbelle pants from years past and are the perfect pair for cold, snowy weather and everything in between. Taking their H2No Performance Standard shell and loading it up with recycled Thermogreen insulation, Patagonia designed a pant that's as tough as the weather you'll find on the deepest days. Insulation gives you an extra layer of warmth built into the pants, keeping your overall body temperature a little higher for longer. So when the wind picks up or the temps drop, you're ready. The aptly named H2No Performance Shell easily wicks water and snow droplets away, so you can take the day all the way to the last chair even if the weather picks up. With all the features skiers look for in a durable, long lasting package, the Insulated Powder Town Pants should be at the top of your Powder Town packlist. If you're looking for something with a little less insulation, check out the regular Powder Town Pants or Bibs for more powder coverage.

You know what they always say: don’t fix it if it ain’t broke. Blizzard understands how popular their Sheeva line has been over the years, and for good reason. Coming into 2023 with fresh topsheet graphics and an updated, more durable topsheet, the Sheeva 10 is once again, ready to take Lady Rippers wherever they’re hearts’ desire. We ski a lot of skis over here at Powder7 and the Sheeva 10, which comes in with the exact same construction and tech as the men’s Rustler 10, but with a women’s specific lighter core, continues to be one of the best all-mountain skis you can find. The Carbon FlipCore D.R.T. places metal underfoot that shifts to carbon in the tips and tails, which not only keeps the swing weight low, but also means better float in soft snow and better control in tight spaces. The Sheeva's soft snow performance is impressive, but it doesn't sacrifice the ability to live on the edge. It carves very well for its waist width, with a preference for shorter, quicker turns, making it feel exceptionally nimble slicing through trees and bumps. Ski it anywhere. Ski it everywhere. Ski it all the time. Similar skis: Elan Ripstick 102 W, Nordica Santa Ana 104 Free, Salomon QST Lumen 99.
Think of the Ledge as your hardass high school coach. It's not here to make you smile, it's here to push you a little further than you think you can go. The hard-shell construction is equipped with MIPS technology for no-nonsense protection. Its minimalist, skate-inspired look features removable earpads, a removable goggle retainer, and an In Form Fit system with vertical tuning for custom snugness and safety. A stack vent prevents goggles from fogging and ample Super Cool vents keep you from getting too hot-headed. It's not trying to punish you, it's just trying to help you realize your potential.
