The Volkl Deacon 72 Master serves up frontside carving performance in a powerful package. At 72mm underfoot, the 72 Master is the narrowest ski in the line and most oriented for hard carving on hard snow. It features a shorter turn radius, perfect for folks who slice and dice groomers with maximum agility. The World Cup plate adds additional stiffness underfoot for more power. Volkl spent years refining the skis to make them smoother and more intuitive, and it shows. These skis are arguably some of the best this season for recreational--yet still aggressive--frontside carving. Check out the Volkl Deacon Master 76 if GS turns are more your speed, or the regular Volkl Deacon 72 if you want something a smidge easier going.
