POV-You've traveled from near or far and step on to the snow at the base of the mountain for the first time in a long or short time. There is a light sprinkle of powder laying down a fresh layer but you know there are blue skies in the near future. That's right, I'm talkin bluebird pow day. You drop your skis to the ground and pole whack the fresh pow off the soles of your boots. You line your toe up and stomp your heel down only to hear that infamous *click*. You feel the slight vibration of the spring run up your leg and the connection you feel with your ski is not unlike the connection them blue tree folk from Avatar make with their dragons. You're locked in, and you know it's on. The Tyrolia Attack 11 has many features worth chatting about and I can guarantee it has the most satisfying *click* of any binding on the market. You can take that to the bank. Not only that, but it is one of the lightest weight alpine bindings that uses some of the most durable hardware. It has a metal mounting track that drills directly into your ski and lightweight plastic casing to lighten the load if you, like me and Neytiri from Avatar, prefer to spend plenty of your time in the air. The horizontally oriented din spring allows for a quicker return to center making the binding more responsive. Overall, it's a simple binding compatible with Gripwalk and Alpine boot soles that allows you to quite literally "Attack" the mountain the way the Na'vi attack the sky people in Avatar. The only thing that could make this better is if it came in blue.

Our Take:

The Tyrolia Attack family of ski bindings are like cheddar cheese here at Powder7. Always there, always good. They pair well with every flavor of wine. Ski, that is. And they consistently manage to perfectly balance budget with quality. Some folks call that “best value.” Anyway, the Tyrolia Attack 11 GW was updated ahead of the 2021-2022 ski season, and the tweaks have only made us love this binding more. The new version features a heel that is easier to adjust plus an updated toe. The AFD is stronger. And, last but not least, the color offerings are better than ever. We love the Attack 11 for women or lighter-weight skiers, as it loads all the performance many skiers need into a chic, non-bulky package. If you are not a big human and you ski with more finesse than aggression, this binding is the type of product you can think about once and forget. In the world of ski bindings, that is rock solid.

Do you offer any kind of warranty?

The skis we sell are in working condition when we get them but if you somehow receive a pair that has a problem then we will offer a full refund. We cannot offer a warranty beyond this.

How to Return an Item

  • Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
  • Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
    • You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
    • We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
  • Option 3: Use your own shipping label
    • You can ship the item back to us through any major carrier, covering the cost of return shipping yourself
    • Your name and order confirmation number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box and within the box
    • You will receive a full refund upon receipt

Returning New Items

  • When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund minus $10 to cover the cost of the return label provided by Powder7.
  • Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item if you would like to return it.
  • Items may only be returned in their original new condition, including all packaging, tags, and accessories.
    • All items are to be sent back in a protective box to prevent damage during shipping.
    • Returned items that arrive used, damaged, marked, or without all original packaging, tags, etc., will be refused and sent back to you.
    • Once a pair of new skis has been mounted, it cannot be returned.

Returning New Ski Boots

  • Please notify us within 30 days of receiving your new boots if you would like to return them.
  • Ski boots may only be returned exactly as they were when we sent them to you, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories.
    • Boots must be returned inside their original undamaged boot box within a shipping box.
    • Any returned boots that arrive used, damaged, or marked—or without the original box and a shipping box—will be refused and sent back to you.
  • We recommend trying on your new boots indoors to make sure they fit before you go outside.

Returning Demo Skis and Other Used Gear

  • When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund.
  • Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
  • Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.
  • Once you use other used gear it cannot be returned

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • We're happy to send extra pictures or talk with you about products in detail before we ship them to ensure you're purchasing a product that is best for you
