We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. Our Take:
The new Stockli Stormrider 102 replaces the Stormrider 105 with a revamped build that is aimed at two types of skiers: Freeriders who like to rip and rippers who like to freeride. Those may sound like the same skier, but you know who you are. The Stormrider 102 features new tips and tails, both of which improve turn initiation, maneuverability, and soft-snow performance. That’s the freeride part. Metal in the build plus a new brushed titanal finish give you the heft you need to carve hard snow, bust crud, and power through chop. That’s the rip part. If you have skied the Stormrider 105, you will find in the 102 a ski with similar chops for directional, fall-line skiing but with an extra dose of playfulness and slash-ability for chasing the soft stuff.
