You’re driving west on I-70 and just emerged from the Eisenhower-Johnson tunnel. It’s in stark contrast from the clear roads and calm weather on the drive up; the road is snow covered and the wind is smothering any semblance of previous vehicle tracks. Visibility is marginal at best but you keep telling yourself that you just need to make it to Silverthorne and the worst will be behind you. In the rearview mirror, you see an ominous cloud of snow; you can’t quite make out what it is. White-knuckled on the steering wheel, you keep glancing back; you see headlights. The Nordica Unleashed 108’s are the embodiment of that Subaru; more than capable to travel at ludicrous speed while being exceptionally stable in chopped up, less-than-perfect, variable snow.
