Like the regular Sir Francis Bacon, but shorter. The Bacon Shorty is unchanged for the 2019 season except for the new topsheet design that of course compliments its Big. Sporting the same shape as its big brother, this ski is made for all-mountain, powder, and freestyle skiing. The twin tip shape and symmetrical flex make for a fun, playful ski that can cruise big lines and tree runs alike. The Shorty features an Aspenlite core which, as the name suggests, is entirely made up of aspen wood. This lighter weight construction is ideal for anyone who is just...in between. When you're not quite big enough for adult skis, and not quite childish enough for those season rentals the Bacon swoops in and steals your heart. The lightweight make-up is also clutch for anyone looking for a touring setup, whether you put a frame binding or a tech binding on this ski, it makes for an awesome backcountry ski.
