In the last few years, Kastle has released Limited editions of their famed MX84 numbering 500 total pairs each season. The plan was a winner. For 2019-2020, they're busting out the same three ultra-premium models as a year ago. The Supra is the widest and most unique extra-premium ski Kastle has ever made. At 93mm underfoot and loaded with carbon atop Karuba wood, it profiles as a mid-width all-mountain/freeride ski that nails demand on opposite ends of the use spectrum. Because it's a Kastle and features plenty of camber plus early rise tips, it rips on-trail and excels in resort off-piste terrain. But it also is a viable backcountry option. That's right, a Limited touring ski. It floats, surfs, and plays enough to absolutely dance through hippy-pow meadows and tree laps along with sidecountry ventures. What are those shiny accents in the topsheets, you ask? It's woven white copper wire. And it's downright sexy.
