The Zest is built for the female skier who wants to alpine tour into the backcountry, jib off the natural features, and still ski aggressively at the resort. The 100mm width underfoot ensures powder floatation, while the positive camber underfoot will grip on nasty hard pack snow. As part of the Mountain Series, the Zest is light enough to tour comfortably, but is built to have a no compromise ride when descending. The construction of the Zest is the G3 Joyride and is Poplar Wood sandwiched with lightweight fiberglass and boxed in with dual density sidewalls that suck up vibrations. With this construction, you can expect a fat ski that tours well and shines as you boot off every natural feature you encounter. The Zest has a camber profile that G3 calls Early Rise 2.5. The tip and tail have moderate rockered curvature paired with positive camber underfoot. With this modern camber profile, skiing is enhanced in the mixed backcountry conditions you will encounter as well as all mountain resort conditions.
