Tech inserts and gripwalk soles are compatible with your choice of touring or hybrid bindings. A true one-boot quiver for the athletic expert skier.

Q: Hola! Hey, quick and possibly dumb question for you. I know this is a tech boot but is it compatible with alpine bindings? I know some AT boot heels don't work with alpine bindings. Thanks in advance! From Ed - August 2021

A: Thanks for reaching out! Definitely not a dumb questions, as like you said many boots with tech inserts are not combatable with alpine bindings. These boots are compatible with alpine bindings, as long as the bindings are grip walk compatible. What this means is that the toe and heel will fit into alpine bindings, but some alpine bindings are picky about the texture of the soul of the boot. If you have bindings already, or have some in mind, we are happy to confirm for you that these boots will work with them. Please reach out to us with any other questions!

How to Return an Item

  • Option 1: Bring the item to our store in Golden, Colorado for a full refund
  • Option 2: Use a printable FedEx return label provided by Powder7:
    • You are responsible for handing the package off at your local FedEx Office
    • We do not provide return labels for any carrier other than FedEx
  • Option 3: Use your own shipping label
    • You can ship the item back to us through any major carrier, covering the cost of return shipping yourself
    • Your name and order confirmation number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box and within the box
    • You will receive a full refund upon receipt

Returning New Items

  • When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund minus $7 to cover the cost of the return label provided by Powder7.
  • Please notify us within 30 days of receiving the new item that you would like to return it.
  • Once an item is in used condition it may not be returned.
    • Once a pair of new skis has been mounted they cannot be returned.
    • Items must be returned in new condition with tags attached and in their original packaging.

Returning Demo Skis

  • When the return is processed, you will receive a full refund.
  • Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the item that you would like to return it.
  • Once you ski on a pair of demo skis they cannot be returned.

Manufacturing Defects

We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. Please note, this process can take several weeks and we will keep you updated as we correspond with the manufacturer.
