The Wailer series is DPS' time-tested collection of mid-fat freeride skis, and for 2019-2020 skiers have more Wailer options than ever. Blending the new with the old, DPS releases the Wailer A106 C2. It's last year's wildly popular Wailer Alchemist at 106mm underfoot, with an important update: the skis are built on an old-school inspired C2 chassis, which lengthens the effective edge and adds power. So while the last round of Wailer Alchemist skis loved soft snow and skied the whole mountain smoothly, the new breed follows suit as it adds more big-mountain strength. On snow, the skis feel more directional and aggressive. This contrasts the loose and smeary feel of the new Wailer A100 RP. More aggressive, directional big mountain skiers will love the update, while classic DPS fans can pick their poison.
