DPS Wailer 99 Hybrid Skis Now Sold Out

2016 DPS Wailer 99 Hybrid Description:

The skinnier brother of the legendary DPS Wailer 112, the Wailer 99 is probably a better choice for many skiers looking for that elusive one-ski-quiver. At 99mm underfoot, the Wailer 99 outshines the wider Wailer 112 on groomed snow, where its edge-to-edge quickness and lightning-fast turn initiation is hard to match. That nimble feel is especially welcome in bumps and tight trees. Paddle Tech geometry dials in the rocker profile and tapered sidecut to deliver a precise but playful on-snow feel. Big mountain skiers know the value of a versatile 100mm-wide ski, and the Wailer 99 might be the best that category has to offer.

DPS's Hybrid construction brings the company's taste for relentless innovation to the traditional wood core ski. A stout poplar wood backbone is reinforced with carbon stringers, bamboo core laminates, and finished with premium World Cup race bases. Stable and lively, the Hybrid series blends classic ski construction with precision engineering.
