Great Skis
These are perfect all-mountain skis. They keep a strong edge on ice, and they float and steer well in powder. Basically, they like to be skied hard no matter what the snow is doing underneath. They are also super light so going uphill doesn't totally drain the energy from your legs (this is my first touring setup so I don't have much experience with other setups, but these Rustlers with Shift bindings make for a much lighter feeling setup than others that I've held). After one season of moderate use the top sheet has started to chip away in a couple places, but nothing too concerning yet. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a ski that that can go anywhere in all types of conditions.

The Rustler 10 scored rave reviews after its 2018 release. So naturally, it returns for 2019 with just one change: a flashier blue topsheet. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? The 102mm waist width, light swingweight, tapered titanal sheet underfoot, uni-directional carbon in the tip and tail, plus well-balanced rocker/camber/rocker profile make the Rustler 10 the most versatile ski in the family and possibly the entire Blizzard lineup. It's stable and reliable enough for hard-charging experts, surfy and turny enough for casual rippers, and even light enough to throw an alpine touring binding on and use for backcountry skiing. This ski is a must-have.
