We work with the best manufacturers in the winter sports industry, but occasionally defects do occur. If you think your product has a manufacturing defect please contact us. We'll work with the manufacturer to determine if their warranty covers the damage. Determining if the issue is a manufacturing defect is solely up to the manufacturer, not Powder7. Please note, this process can take several weeks and we will keep you updated as we correspond with the manufacturer.

Now that the Volkl Mantra has returned to a cambered design, the Daemon carries the torch for skis around 100mm with metal and...wait for it...a reverse camber profile. Fully rockered skis were originally born as powder-only boards. But the Daemon unapologetically takes that profile into the world of all-mountain skis and dares more traditional skis to keep up. It's the kind of ski that is easy to make assumptions about, from guessing that it can't hold a good edge to thinking it must be too aggressive for most skiers. Our testers would disagree on both counts. The Daemon carves surprisingly well, holding a solid edge at borderline unsafe speeds. But far from demanding that you drive it hard or suffer the consequences, the ski handles intuitively at all speeds, thanks to its ability to easy begin and finish turns plus its pivoting prowess. Compared to the old Mantra during its full-rocker days, the Daemon is far more playful. But it still blows apart crud and whizzes past slow signs with supernatural ability. Go ahead and be different.
